NAIFA-New Hampshire Members,

My name is Nate Lehman, CAE, and it is indeed my pleasure to have been appointed as the Interim Executive Director of NAIFA-New Hampshire.

I am excited for the opportunity to work with you to ensure the most favorable environment possible for you to counsel and advise your clients in maximizing their financial security.  Along with Hal Sullivan, CFP®,CLU®,LUTCF,CLTC,CASL® and our lobbyist, Adam Smith, I will be keeping you informed on what is happening in Concord and alerting you on when we need your help.

As an introduction, I've spent more than fourteen years as an association executive, helping to lead and guide chapters, with a focus on membership development.  In 2019, I earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation, placing me in the top 5% of association executives, nationally.  A veteran of the Army National Guard, I completed ten years of service in 2011.  I joined the NAIFA family earlier this year and have been helping to construct systems that will be the model for NAIFA chapters across the nation, and look forward to bringing that experience to NAIFA-New Hampshire, as we collaborate to rebuild our chapter and advance it to new heights.

I am well aware of the recent changes faced by the chapter, as well as the concerns you must certainly have.  Change, no matter the circumstances, is never easy – and I understand these were less than ideal.  Nonetheless, it was determined to be necessary and so here we are.  We cannot afford, nor do you pay us to rehash the past.  My focus is on where we are and where we are going…together.  This is your chapter.  My job is to make it serve you, with your input and direction.

As you know, we need volunteers to offer input and guidance.  For too long, being a Board member has been a weight or a burden.  It doesn’t need to be and it shouldn’t be.  We need only a couple hours a month of your time to tell us what NAIFA-NH members need, so we can make it happen.  We’ll take it from there.  If you’re willing to give it a shot, let me know.  I promise you won’t regret it.

NAIFA-New Hampshire is here to stay and we appreciate you, your continued investment, and your faith in us to deliver.  I look forward to working together and serving the members of NAIFA-New Hampshire.

Sincerely,

Nate Lehman, CAE
Interim Executive Director
